The Zen Art Center

Everything done with the heart is art.

The Zen Art Center is the physical headquarters of the Mind Light Way School of Zen. It is a sanctuary designed for the practical application of Zen in everyday life.

Practice Beyond the Mat

Zen is the practice of deepening our understanding of the mind. As we honor traditional seated meditation, moving meditation, koans and contemplation practices, and verbal transmission (Dharma Talks), we also believe that clarity is found through action.

At the Zen Art Center, we use creative expression—writing, movement, sound, and visual arts—as primary tools to gain a deeper understanding of the mind and cultivate focus, clarity, and flow.

A Community of Clarity (Sangha)

Transformation can be a solitary path. But it doesn’t have to be. The Zen Art Center serves as a Sangha, a dedicated community where we support one another’s growth. We provide the space and the systems for individuals to move from confusion to clarity, together.
